In Zaandam, a new skatepark has been constructed on the 'Jagersveld'; a unique location lying between walking paths and a dike. The new park is replacing an old halfpipe, creating a fresh, modern skatepark for the skate community in Zaandam. The park has been designed ánd built in close collaboration with the local skaters, creating immediate 'ownership' on the park. Sadly, a summer storm wiped out the old tree that was integrated in the design, but quickly a new tree was planted here.
