Since 2023, we have been conducting research on the added value of Urban Sports in the city: something that is self-evident to us, but a subject that deserves research, publication and a spotlight. Early 2025, we were informed that our requested follow-up subsidy had been granted by the Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie.

Together with Daniel Casas Valle of Urban Dynamics we will continue to research Urban Sports as a meeting place in the coming year. Not only will we develop a toolbox based on precedents, but we will also do a series of case studies for and with Dutch municipalities, such as the municipality of The Hague, Eindhoven and Hoorn.
