The existing MLK-Parkour park was in need of renovation: Amsterdam's first covered parkour spot was limited in its possibilities, and outdated when it comes to the texture of the surfaces and materials. With our design, the parkour park is expanded, and there is an additional bootcamp- and boulder climbing part. There is space for more urban sports athletes to enjoy the park, resulting in a stronger community and more safety underneath the overpass. The landscape design has been altered to allow a safe passage for critters, and there is a new zen garden. All in all, the park has been upgraded to a cool sports park with its own identity and smart positioning.
